It’s news to no one when we say that Y2K nostalgia is totally in right now. You can see it influencing current fashion trends, media, and much more. We also think it’s about time we bring back another fun nostalgic trend: virtual pets!

If past visions of Tamagotchi and Giga Pets came to mind, and you’re wishing you could play one once again, then look no further because we just found the ultimate modern version of them and we are OBSESSED!
Let us introduce to you Bitzee, the ultimate digital pet for Disney fans!

Bitzee allows you to play with digital versions of 30 of your favorite Disney characters, including, Mickey, Minnie, Stitch, Sulley, and much more!

It reacts to swipes, tilts, and taps, making the level of interaction out of this world. Each character comes with exclusive moves and actions, including Mickey putting on his Sorcerer’s Hat, Bruni nuzzling Elsa’s hand, Stitch surfing, and much more!

With so many ways to play, including earning Wishing Stars to attract more digital Disney friends, playtime is virtually endless! Included with your purchase are 1 Bitzee, 1 Quick Start Guide, 1 Instruction Sheet, and 3 AA Batteries.

We ordered the product to see if it was really worth the hype. And we can say, it is! Here is our review!!
Is it worth the money?
YES! My 7 year old knew exactly what it was from the moment it got to the house and kept asking when we could open it to play with it. It’s definitely something kids are already becoming familiar with quickly and seem to want to get their hands on.

What do you like about it?
It’s fun and simple once you get the hang of the motions with the characters. It’s not too challenging for kids to want to play with and it’s easy to unlock new characters quickly. As you unlock more there’s the potential though that you could be playing with one character when another interrupts you with a message to want to be played with. We didn’t mind this too much because it kept the focus because playing with one character doing the same things over and over again for a long time could get boring.

There’s also a few characters that have games to play with them (that we’re still trying to figure out exactly how to work) and each character has a movie clapperboard that lets you see your character in a fun movie moment sometimes interacting with other characters.
Bitzee is sure to be on the top of many Christmas lists this year (we know it sure is for us) as it makes a great fun gift for kiddos and a nostalgic one for adults. We love this twist on digital pets of years past!
