From Lori
We were up early this morning – before 6am. Apparently, it rained overnight, but it is beautiful now. I think we are about 30 minutes behind the published schedule.
First round of photos –
Boat pulling away from Magic from dropping off Canal Pilot.
Many, many, many other ships “parked” outside the canal. We see no other cruise ships.
In addition to the Bahamian flag, we are also flying the Panamanian flag.
Rainbow off port side
Starboard side buoy (it’s red, green for port side) We are entering the channel now.
These rocks are just outside the channel. They were debris from when the canal was built.
Approaching the Bridge of the Americas.
Passing under the Bridge of the Americas.
