Disney World feels like it’s constantly getting new additions these days!

From new rides and new shows to changes in policies (like the upcoming updates to Lightning Lanes), there always seems to be something new to see and experience. And now, there’s something (or someONE) new you can see at Animal Kingdom!

Dr. Mark Penning, who’s the Vice President of Disney’s Animals, Science, & Environment, shared a first look at a BRAND-NEW addition to Kilimanjaro Safaris…a baby zebra! This little Hartmann’s mountain zebra foal just joined the herd after being born to mom Juno.

The new baby zebra is Juno’s second foal. Juno previously gave birth to older sister Cricket. The new baby’s name hasn’t yet been announced, but we’re waiting with bated breath. Just look at those cute little stripes!

This isn’t the first baby we’ve seen this year! A little while ago, we got a new Abdim’s stork chick in Dinoland, USA. Before that, an adorable baby elephant joined the savanna at the end of 2023 — her name is Corra!

So if that doesn’t give you a reason to visit Animal Kingdom soon, what will?! The park is also about to experience some big changes in Dinoland, USA, which is going to be turned into a new land themed to the Tropical Americas. We can’t wait to learn more about the new additions!
