It’s an exciting time to be a Disney World fan! New restaurants are on the way, exciting hotel updates are coming soon, and we’re getting ready to welcome some brand-new rides.
Test Track is being reimagined soon and we even spotted another EPCOT ride permit recently. But, EPCOT isn’t the only park with rides getting some love!
We search permits recently filed by Disney around the parks and hotels to get an idea of what sort of projects might be coming up in Disney World — and this new Magic Kingdom permit has us kind of excited! It looks like Disney has filed a permit for some work over at Peter Pan’s Flight.
Disney filed a Notice of Commencement, so Disney is likely planning on starting work here soon. The property address listed on the permit matches the Peter Pan’s Flight show building — so we might start to see work here soon. What that work might be, though, remains anyone’s guess for now.
What we do know is that Disney Imagineering filed this permit. Usually, Imagineering permits are filed for rides and other show elements that are what Disney would call “guest-facing,” meaning regular visitors could see them.
For now, Disney hasn’t shared any announcements about what sort of work might be done at Peter Pan’s Flight, but we’ll certainly be on the lookout for updates!
