A Popular Disney Springs Area Hotel Is Changing SOON

There are plenty of Disney-owned and operated hotels to choose from, but what if you’re trying to stay just outside the “Disney World bubble” to save some dough (and sometimes some sanity!) Disney Springs area hotels can be the perfect option — and a popular will be changing SOON!

The B Resort & Spa near Disney Springs will soon become a Marriott Renaissance Hotel! Renovations have been underway for a while and the resort will reportedly be reopening as a Renaissance soon.

When we checked out the B Resort & Spa website, it appeared that rooms are still available to book under the hotel name, and we also spotted some recent job postings on Indeed that said “soon to be a Renaissance.”

It looks like the new Orlando Marriott Renaissance might be opening up officially in June 2024 based on what that website is showing when you go to book.

Not only that, but B Resort and Spa Lake Buena Vista was just added back to the list of participants in the Early Theme Park Entry program. This hotel is located in the Disney Springs area. The Disney website listed them as participating in Early Entry until December 31, 2023, but wasn’t updated to reflect any extension in their participation in this program until now. We’re assuming this will roll over into the Marriott Renaissance, but we will let you know once that is confirmed.
