Could the NEW Billion Dollar Hotel Near Disney World Be EXPANDING?

Orlando recently got a brand new luxury hotel, the Evermore Resort, and we’ll admit, it kinda’ blew us away when we got a look at it.

This 1,100-acre resort complex includes a series of hotel rooms, flats, villas, and even single homes for guests to stay in. To say it’s HUGE is an understatement. Well, that massive resort could be growing even more soon.

This huge resort plans currently show a total of 1,500 bedrooms spread out among all its spaces and even has 150,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, 40,000 square feet of indoor meeting space, multiple dining locations, a spa, and more. However, according to The Orlando Business Journal, Evermore Resort is looking to expand even more.

Although Dart Interests, the property’s owner, has already built up 500 acres of the resort, the property still has another 200 acres that can be developed. “The big question is not whether there is sufficient demand to fill up our first phase of homes, or even the second,” President Chris Kelsey of Dart Interests said. “It’s how many should we build in the long run as we have the land and the capital to build hundreds more.”

At this point, the resort is so huge that it could become a vacation destination in and of itself. The resort also includes extra-large rental homes that range in size from 5 bedrooms to 11 bedrooms built in response to a growth in multi-family and multi-generational travel.

These houses don’t come cheap, though. Each home could cost anywhere from $1,379 to $3,880 per night. These houses come with some nice features like a bathroom for every bedroom, a heated pool, a gourmet kitchen, a living room with plenty of seating for everyone, and more (there’s even a slide, y’all!). Guests also get access to Evermore Resort’s facilities and amenities, including the lagoon with its 20 acres of beaches.
