Disney World Just Subtly Corrected a MAJOR Mistake

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be opening in Disney World in the summer of 2024 and we can’t wait to ride this attraction for the very first time. Here’s the thing, though — some people are a little confused about what exactly Tiana’s is going to be.

We’ve heard people in the parks comment about being excited to eat at the new Tiana restaurant when it opens. But, the problem with that is Disney hasn’t made any announcements about a potential Tiana restaurant in Disney World. We think Disney may have caught on because it looks like they’re trying to do some damage control.

Disney just added something NEW to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom — a festive mural on the construction walls! With the announcement that Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will open in the summer of 2024, Disney has updated the signage to reflect that. But, we noticed they also updated some other signs that were previously here, and we can’t help but think it was for a very particular reason.

You see, some people were under the impression that a Tiana-themed restaurant (a la Tiana’s Palace in Disneyland) was being added as part of the new attraction. This was likely amplified by the fact that there were “Tiana’s Foods” signs plastered on these construction walls.

But, now that the sign says “Tiana’s Bayou Adventure,” hopefully things will be a bit clearer.

The ride will pick up right where The Princess and the Frog left off when it comes to Tiana’s story. It starts right “after the final kiss, and join Princess Tiana and Louis on a musical adventure – featuring some of the powerful music from the film – as they prepare for their first-ever Mardi Gras performance.”

And, Disney has added some new Mardi Gras signage out front!

We also know that Louis will be a big part of the ride, even leading a band full of critters.
