Universal Orlando is one of the most popular theme parks in Orlando, and for good reason.

There are so many hidden secrets to explore around the two parks, not to mention tons of attractions to experience. If you’re heading to the parks for the first time, or maybe visiting for your 100th visit, here are three top secret places you may not know about!
Knockturn Alley
Mostly everyone is familiar with Diagon Alley which you can experience in Universal Orlando, but did you know there’s a side street called Knockturn Alley?

Just like in the Harry Potter books and movies, Knockturn Alley is home to dark magic shops and sinister secrets. It’s actually quite difficult to find if you’re not looking for it. To enter, you’ll want to either head to the entrance right past the Leaky Cauldron or head around to the restrooms on the backside of the Gringotts dragon.
Caves and Tunnels in Camp Jurassic
You may think Camp Jurassic in the Jurassic Park section of Islands of Adventure is just for kids, but that’s where you’re wrong! The Camp Jurassic caves are open for all to experience.

These tunnels are no joke — they’re dark, winding paths that take you under and high above the rest of Camp Jurassic, and anyone can experience them. However, there are lots of (safe) rope bridges and climbing involved, so keep that in mind before you start exploring.
Streets and Alleyways in New York
In Universal Orlando, you’ll walk through a section of the park dedicated to New York. While you may be in a rush to get to Diagon Alley to beat the crowds, we encourage you to take a moment and explore this area.

There are tons of side streets and alleyways to look around — it shows just how detailed this section of the park is. We often find that we forget we’re NOT in New York when we walk around this section, so if you’re looking for something to do while you wait for your food to digest, or you just want a bit of a break, don’t miss this!
