This Is the Most Incredible Thing That Has EVER Happened to Us in EPCOT. For Real.

Happy 21st of September to all who celebrate! That’s right, it’s officially September 21st, a date that will forever be known as Earth, Wind & Fire Day thanks to the Billboard charting hit “September” by the iconic group.

We know you’re probably scratching your heads wondering what this has to do with EPCOT, but don’t worry — we can explain.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is the newest roller coaster to hit EPCOT and it’s proven to be an instant classic. Now, music is a huge part of the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise thanks to Peter Quill/Star Lord’s Awesome Mixes and arguably terrible dance moves. So, of course, music is also a huge part of this ride!

There are six different songs that play on Cosmic Rewind, and you never know what you’re going to get! One of those songs just so happens to be “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire — which meant we had one task and one task only today: ride Cosmic Rewind and get this song. We knew it wouldn’t be easy, and in fact, would potentially be one of the most difficult tasks we had ever set out to accomplish.

But y’all… we did it! We got to hear this iconic song on one of the best rides in EPCOT on September 21st!
