What to Wear to Disneyland in May

May is one of our favorite months.

Most schools around the country are closing for summer vacation, the weather is warming up for summer, and many of us choose to take our summer vacations early before the brunt of the summertime heat hits. May is also a popular time to visit both Disney World and Disneyland! While packing for a May Disney World trip is pretty easy (pack in preparation to sweat a LOT), packing for a trip to Disneyland in May might be a little trickier. If you’re hoping for some advice and outfit inspiration on what to wear to Disneyland in May, you’re in the right place, my friend.

The weather in Anaheim in May is basically our idea of perfection. Lows are around 60ºF while highs are around 75ºF each day. The best part? Anaheim averages 0 inches of rainfall during the month of May. What’s better than a sunny and 75 day at the theme park?

With weather like this, it’s pretty easy to dress in a way that’s comfortable for all day long. Let’s check out some different outfit options!

Mickey and Minnie in Bloom Outfit

This outfit is for those of you who prefer to be comfy over anything else. We love this Mickey and Minnie ‘Together We Bloom’ sweatshirt paired with some biker shorts. Next, add some comfortable sneakers and all the other Disney-themed accessories you want.

Flower in Bloom Outfit

Who doesn’t love the adorable Flower from Bambi? This outfit is very simple to recreate, even if you want to ditch the Flower elements. Start with a black tennis skirt and pair it with a spring-themed T-shirt. Add some plain black ears and some black sneakers, and you’re good to go! Add some floral accessories to spruce it up a little.

When we think of spring, we think of Miss Daisy! Start with a floral maxi or midi skirt (bonus points if it’s purple) and then pair it with a pink tank, tee, or bodysuit. We love this look paired with white sneakers that have a pink platform. Next, add daisy earrings, a pink bow, and other white accessories.

Nothing says spring like Rainbow Connection! These Muppets overalls would surely make a statement in the parks while still being cool and comfy. Pair them with some Tevas or other black sandals as well as some Kermit accessories.
