Disney's Contemporary Resort Announces 13 NEW Menu Items in Disney World

There are many things to love about Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

Not only is it right next to Magic Kingdom, but the Monorail goes right through the resort, the rooms are themed to the Incredibles, and there are several stand-out restaurants. Now we’ve got another reason to love the Contemporary and it takes us over to Contempo Cafe!

Contempo Cafe is the main quick-service location at the resort and it is known to hold some of our favorite treats. We’ve got some exciting news to share about this location — Disney just announced NEW menu items!

First up for breakfast is the Minnie Cinnamon Roll. This is a classic treat with a Minnie Mouse twist featuring her iconic polka dot bow. There is also a Breakfast Flatbread if you want something a little less sweet.

For lunch and dinner, there are many new things to see here on the menu including this Spicy Chicken Sandwich! This is a crispy chicken breast topped with pepper jack, chipotle rémoulade, arugula, seasoned tomato, and dill pickle chips served on a brioche bun.

An updated version of the Four-Cheese Grilled Cheese & Tomato-Basil Soup will also be available.

Starting at 4PM each day, Signature Rice Bowls will be available as a lighter option. The bowls include a combo of cilantro-lime rice, black beans, street corn, avocado, pico de gallo, carrot, and pickled red onion — then they are topped with a protein of choice (grilled shrimp, braised beef, grilled chicken, or plant-based crispy tofu).

For dessert, grab the Monorail S’more Brownie which is a fudgy brownie with a graham cracker crust topped with marshmallow creme and chocolate decor.

Jack Jack Cookie Num Nums are a staple in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but now they have become a cupcake! This is the Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums Cupcake and it is a chocolate cupcake topped with chocolate chip cookie dough mousse themed to the Incredibles, of course.

The Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar is another chocolatey treat that is gluten and wheat friendly.

If you’ve looked at the giant Mary Blair mural at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, then you’ve probably seen the 5-legged goat. Introducing the 5-Legged Goat Fruit Tart! It’s made with a vanilla tart shell filled with raspberry-lemon curd topped with fresh fruit and lemon whipped cream.

New Signature Deluxe Cookies are also available at Contempo Cafe. Here are the cookies available:

Chocolate Chunk Cookie with peanut butter buttercream
Churro Cookie with cinnamon buttercream
Kitchen Sink Cookie with chocolate chip cookie with salted caramel, Mickey chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, butterscotch, and walnuts
Strawberry Lemonade Sugar Cookie with strawberry buttercream and patriotic sprinkles (available August 16th through September 30th)

The sugar cookie option is seasonal and will rotate flavors throughout the year.
