Are you prepared to be terrified?

If the answer is “yes,” you may be interested in attending Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights. Each year, Universal brings some HORRIFYING haunted houses to its parks for a special ticketed event that’s guaranteed to scare your socks off. This year, though, something even scarier is coming to the event.
The hit video game (which has also been adapted as an HBO TV series), The Last of Us, is headed to Halloween Horror Nights. For those not familiar with The Last of Us, it’s set in a devastated world suffering from what is essentially a zombie-like apocalypse where all that’s left are the infected and survivors. Now that terrifying setting is coming to Universal Orlando beginning on September 1st and Universal Studios Hollywood beginning on September 7th.
Try to Survive The Last of Us.
Enter the overgrown and perilous world of @Naughty_Dog's video game in real life, as you fight to survive and navigate your way through an abandoned Pittsburgh with Joel and Ellie. https://t.co/f5Sh2L4Nyf#HHN #HHN32 @PlayStation pic.twitter.com/hc2BVxMNkm

The Last of Us haunted houses “will propel guests into a world of carnage and mayhem as they follow in the footsteps of the game’s protagonists, Joel and Ellie, who endure a brutal journey in a world overtaken by a fungal virus that turns humans into various forms of a new threat known as the Infected.”

Guests will run into a variety of Infected, including Runners, Stalkers, and those horrifying Clickers. But there will also be hostile humans to deal with. Will you be able to navigate the Pittsburgh Quarantine Zone, which includes some of the video game’s locations (like The Hotel Grand), and survive?
Don’t worry, if you can’t make it to Universal Orlando, the new house will also be available at Universal Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights!

Tickets for Halloween Horror Nights are on sale now, and with this announcement, we imagine they could sell out quickly, given the popularity of The Last of Us game AND TV show. Several ticket options are available, including multi-night passes. Tickets can be purchased on the Universal Orlando and Universal Studios Hollywood websites.
We’ll keep an eye out for more Halloween Horror Nights news, so be sure to check back with AllEars again soon.
