Navigating Disney World by car can sometimes be a struggle, simply because the property is the size of San Francisco.

But since there’s so much driving involved to get from one end of the property to the other, changes in traffic patterns can heavily affect your trip to the parks. And this morning, a fatal crash caused some major diversions in traffic.
According to WESH 2 Orlando, a fatal crash shut down a portion of US-192 in Osceola County on the morning of Wednesday, March 15th. The incident took place just after 5AM near Griffen Road.

Because of this, westbound traffic off of US-192 was diverted to World Drive and eastbound traffic was detoured off at Griffen Road and then back onto US-192. The road reopened around 9:30AM, but the closure lasted for several hours initially. It caused major delays just south of Disney World property.

We’ll keep you updated with any more major traffic updates from the Disney World area, so stay tuned to AllEars.
