The Walt Disney Company’s 100th anniversary celebration will kick off in a big way at Disneyland Resort starting January 27th, 2023.

Sleeping Beauty Castle will be getting a new look, and so will Mickey and Minnie. Plus, there will be special food, merchandise, decor, and more. If you’re hoping to be in Disneyland just as the festivities kick off, things were a little complicated before. But now things have CHANGED.
Back in early October, Disneyland announced that ALL theme park pass reservations were paused for both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure for dates after January 8th, 2023.
That meant you couldn’t make a Park Pass (or generally purchase park tickets, with some potential exceptions) for the 100th anniversary celebration’s kickoff in the resort or really many dates in 2023.

But now things have CHANGED! The Disneyland website now once again shows tickets as being available to purchase beyond January 8th.
As of the time of this post, it looks like guests are able to purchase park tickets through February 10th, 2023.

The Park Pass calendar also now shows availability to make reservations at Disneyland Park or California Adventure for dates beyond January 8th.

The calendar appears to show availability through February 10th at this time.

When it comes to Disneyland Magic Key pass holders, however, things are a little different. Currently, the Park Pass availability calendar appears to only show availability through January 11th. So Magic Key pass holders will have to wait a bit before they’re able to book a Park Pass for January 27th.

If f you’ve been eager to buy your theme park tickets to Disneyland and make those Park Pass reservations for the start of the 100th anniversary, right NOW is probably the time to do it (except for Magic Key pass holders). January 27th (the start of the celebration) is wide open in terms of Park Pass availability. But be warned, your ticket for that date won’t be cheap.
Disneyland recently increased its theme park ticket prices, and January 27th now falls into the highest tier when looking at single-day 1-park tickets. A single ticket for that day will set you back $179. The Saturday and Sunday following the 27th are priced similarly high.

So be sure to create a budget that’ll take into account that high ticket price, coupled with the money you’ll likely want to spend on special 100th anniversary ears, snacks, and more.
