Price increases have hit Disney’s parks in a BIG way lately.

Genie+ pricing will vary by day in Disneyland, droids and lightsabers just got more expensive in Disney World, flexible pricing has been announced for Genie+ in Disney World, and sneaky ticket price increases were revealed for Disney World for 2023. Now, ticket price increases have hit Disneyland too!
Back in October of 2021, Disneyland increased ticket and parking prices. We also saw increases hit Magic Key passes in 2022. Now, Disneyland is getting even more expensive.
Much like Disney World, park ticket prices at Disneyland vary depending on the day you visit. Tickets are more expensive on peak (busier) dates and less expensive on less busy dates. It’s all based on demand and expectation of demand.

Disneyland previously had 6 tiers when it came to pricing. Now, there are 7 tiers.
Here’s a look at the old prices and updated increased costs for 1-day, 1-park tickets:
- Tier 0: NEW — Current Price: $104
- Tier 1: Previous Price: $104; Current Price: $114 ($10 increase)
- Tier 2: Previous Price: $119; Current Price: $129 ($10 increase)
- Tier 3: Previous Price: $134; Current Price: $144 ($10 increase)
- Tier 4: Previous Price: $149; Current Price: $159 ($10 increase)
- Tier 5: Previous Price: $159; Current Price: $169 ($10 increase)
- Tier 6: Previous Price: $164; Current Price: $179 ($15 increase)

What about 1-day Park Hoppers? Here’s a look at those price changes:
- Tier 0: NEW — Current Price: $169
- Tier 1: Previous Price: $164; Current Price: $179 ($15 increase)
- Tier 2: Previous Price: $179; Current Price: $194 ($15 increase)
- Tier 3: Previous Price: $194; Current Price: $209 ($15 increase)
- Tier 4: Previous Price: $209; Current Price: $224 ($15 increase)
- Tier 5: Previous Price: $219; Current Price: $234 ($15 increase)
- Tier 6: Previous Price: $224; Current Price $244 ($20 increase)

But wait, there’s more. Price increases have also impacted multi-day tickets. Here’s a look at those changes for multi-day tickets that are for 1-park per day.
- 2-day ticket, 1 park per day: Previous Price: $255; Current Price: $285 ($30 increase)
- 3-day ticket, 1 park per day: Previous Price: $330; Current Price: $360 ($30 increase)
- 4-day ticket, 1 park per day: Previous Price: $360; Current Price: $395 ($35 increase)
- 5-day ticket, 1 park per day: Previous Price: $380; Current Price: $415 ($35 increase)

And here’s what the changes look like for multi-day, park hopper tickets:
- 2-day ticket, park hopper: Previous Price: $315; Current Price: $345 ($30 increase)
- 3-day ticket, park hopper: Previous Price: $390; Current Price: $420 ($30 increase)
- 4-day ticket, park hopper: Previous Price: $420; Current Price: $455 ($35 increase)
- 5-day ticket, park hopper: Previous Price: $440; Current Price: $475 ($35 increase)

Overall, the price increases range from $10 to $35, depending on the ticket you’ll be purchasing. That might not make a big difference in your budget if you’ll be traveling alone on a short trip, but if you’ll be traveling with a group on a multi-day trip, those increases can really add up.
If you haven’t already purchased your tickets and you had created your budget based on the older prices, be sure to take a look at these updated costs and estimate your new expenses so you can adjust your budgeting plans appropriately.
