Pricing Will Change by Day for Genie+ at Disneyland Resort

Disney Genie+ debuted in both Disney World and Disneyland last year, replacing the FastPass and MaxPass programs in both resorts.

Genie+ is a paid system that allows you to make reservations for the Lightning Lanes at rides so you can skip the normal lines. We’ve seen changes to Genie+ since it was first offered, and we also just found out that the price has gone up on the system in Disneyland Resort. But, that’s not the only thing changing with Genie+.

Prices will now vary by day for Disney Genie+ in Disneyland Resort. So, on more popular days, the service will cost more than $25 per day, as $25 is the new starting rate.

Disney has not revealed what the other prices could be for Genie+ during the more popular times of the year. But, at the very least, $25 is the new norm, while $20 was the former starting point.

Also know that Genie+ will be $25 per day when purchased in advance as an add-on with a new ticket or vacation packages. Single-day purchases for Disney Genie+ through the Disneyland app will begin at $25 per day, and may vary by date, based on demand. So, it’s unclear whether advance purchases will see this varying pricing.
