Disneyland is in full holiday mode right now as decorations start to appear around the parks and a brand new year-round holiday shop opens!
But, as Disneyland prepares to head into the holidays, there is also another big change that is taking place over the coming months.
Disneyland has added a new Tier 6 ticket option to its previously 5-tiered system and increased the prices on most park tickets.
The tiered ticket system is a demand-based pricing structure with Tier 1 being the dates with the least demand and the new Tier 6 being the dates with the most demand. Under Tier 6, the new pricing will be $164 for a 1-day, 1-park ticket and $224 for a 1-day Park Hopper.
Plus, some other ticket options received a price increase after the introduction of the newest tier. Here’s a quick breakdown:
The 1-Day, 1-Park Tickets have seen a price increase for the various tiers including:
- Tier 1: Previous Price: $104; Current Price: $104
- Tier 2: Previous Price: $114; Current Price: $119
- Tier 3: Previous Price: $124; Current Price: $134
- Tier 4: Previous Price: $139; Current Price: $149
- Tier 5: Previous Price: $154; Current Price: $159
- Tier 6: NEW; Current Price: $164
The 1-Day, Park Hopper Tickets have also seen a bump in their prices, according to tiers:
- Tier 1: Previous Price: $159; Current Price: $164
- Tier 2: Previous Price: $169; Current Price: $179
- Tier 3: Previous Price: $179; Current Price: $194
- Tier 4: Previous Price: $194; Current Price: $209
- Tier 5: Previous Price: $209; Current Price: $219
- Tier 6: NEW; Current Price: $224
And, multi-day tickets have received increases across the board as well. Guests using a 2-Day, 1-Park Ticket will see prices that have gone from $235 to $255…
…along with the 2-Day Park Hopper from $290 to $315.
The days that have seen some of the biggest price increases include a 3-Day, 1-Park from $310 to $330…
…3-Day Park Hopper from $365 to $390…
…4-Day, 1-Park from $340 to $360…
…and 4-Day Park Hopper from $395 to $420.
And, the 5-Day, 1-Park Tickets round out our price increases with a climb from $360 to $380…
…as well as the 5-Day Park Hopper Tickets from $415 to $440.
Parking has also seen a price increase from $25 to $30 in Disneyland.
