Many things have returned to Disneyland Resort since reopening in spring of 2021.
Things like fireworks, buffets, holiday parties, and more have all made a comeback, but some parts of Disneyland have returned with changes made. Disneyland’s annual passes have returned, but in a whole new system — Magic Key. This includes new kinds of passes with different perks than before, and now, one Magic Key pass is no longer available.
Disneyland’s Dream Key Pass has sold out.
The Dream Key is the highest tier of Disneyland’s Magic Key Annual Passholder Program. It allows Passholders to have up to 6 theme park reservations at a time for different dates, up to 20% off select merchandise, up to 15% off select dining, and includes standard theme park parking (excluding blockout days). The Dream Key is $1,399.
Disneyland had previously said that sales for Magic Key passes would be limited and could sell out. This is part of an effort by Disney to manage capacity in the parks and limit attendance.
A new ticket tier has also been added for 1-day tickets. Disneyland has moved from a 5-tier demand pricing system to a 6-tier system.
The times of highest demand throughout the year will be part of tier 6. 1-day, 1-park tickets in tier 6 will be $164 and 1-day Park Hopper tickets in tier 6 will be $224.
In addition to this new tier, Disneyland has also increased the prices of almost all other ticket options.
