As part of the D23 Expo, we’ve seen LOTS of major movie and series announcements.
We got release years for Mufasa: The Lion King, along with the live-action adaptation of Snow White. We also got a NEW trailer for the next season of The Mandalorian coming to Disney+. And at today’s Disney+ panel, we got a premiere date for another highly anticipated series!
Earlier this summer we got a sneak peek at the upcoming National Treasure: Edge of History, a new series based on the beloved movies.
At the D23 Expo, Disney revealed that it will be premiering on the service on December 14th, 2022. Along with the premiere date, we also got a brand new trailer for the series!

The series brings back actor Justin Bantha to reprise his role from the movies as computer expert Riley Poole, and also features Lyndon Smith, Zuri Reed, Jake Austin Walker, Antonio Cipriano, Jordan Rodrigues, and Catherine Zeta-Jones. Lisette Alexis will play Jess Morales, a 20-year-old woman trying to uncover her family’s strange history while also searching for hidden treasure.
