2 Nighttime Shows Are RETURNING to Disneyland This Year

Summertime may have just started, but that doesn’t mean that it’s too early to be thinking about the holidays!

Disney recently announced tons of holiday news for Disney World, like the return of the Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. But what about Disneyland Resort? It’s not getting left out of the festive fun, because we got some updates on two holiday nighttime shows that will be returning to Disneyland this year!

At Disneyland, “Believe… in Holiday Magic” fireworks will be returning!

These fireworks are set to holiday music medleys and end with “snow” falling in certain areas of Disneyland, like on Main Street, U.S.A.; by the Rivers of America; and in front of it’s a small world!

Also returning is “World of Color — Season of Light” at Disney California Adventure. This show is similar to the usual World of Color show and is a mix of classic holiday music and well-known scenes from Disney and Pixar movies, complete with special effects, lighting, and dancing fountains.

Both of these shows are returning from years past. Disney did not share when exactly these shows will make their return to the parks, but it will likely be sometime in November or December.

In addition to the holiday nighttime shows, the 7-foot gingerbread house will be returning to the lobby of the Grand Californian Resort & Spa during the holiday season again this year.

Disney also shared a sneak peek at some festive merchandise that will be available in the Disney parks to celebrate this year, and we think some of the items are going to be DIVISIVE.

If you’re in the parks now through this weekend, you can celebrate Halfway to Holidays in both Disney World and Disneyland Resort with special, limited-time treats.
