Being a Disney Vacation Club (DVC) member comes with lots of perks.

DVC members get access to annual pass and ticket discounts, ticket discounts, special events, and exclusive lounges across Disney properties. Now, one of those lounges is getting set to reopen with a brand new theme!
The Top of the World Lounge at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort will reopen to eligible DVC members on July 11th.

However, Disney’s website is showing that the lounge will have a new theme. The lounge is now a VILLAINS Lair! In true Disney fashion, there’s a back story as to how that happened. When the Top of the World Lounge temporarily closed, the spot became a hideout spot for Disney Villains. This is why guests who revisit the reopened lounge will find things left behind by some of Disney’s most dastardly ne’er-do-wells.

Guests will find everything from: “Curious couture from [villains’] wicked wardrobes. Artwork befitting their ghastly galleries. And rebellious recipes for their cunning concoctions.” The lounge even got new furnishings from the devilish crew who previously hung out there.

The lounge will still offer one of the most spectacular views of Magic Kingdom, including rooftop viewing of Disney’s Enchantment fireworks show. New menu offerings include, “carefully crafted concoctions, wicked wines, bubbling brews and ominous appetizers –– including the new Seven-Lair Cake,” “Cherna-Board” of meats and cheeses, herb-roasted “Unfortunate Souls Shrimp,” “Lair-Made Hummus,” and “Who’s Afraid of Pork Belly Sliders.” Plus you can pair it all with new cocktails like “The Other Side,” “The Underworld” and “Mirror Mirror Moonshine.”

Top of the World Lounge — A Villains Lair will be open from 6PM to midnight daily but is subject to capacity restrictions. DVC members can check in as early as 5:45PM, with complimentary parking beginning at 5PM (depending on availability). Eligible members must check in at the Top of the Lounge — A Villains Lair desk on the ground floor lobby and must have their digital member card, as well as a photo ID.
