VIDEOS: Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Evacuated During Fire Alarm Last Night

Even at the most magical place on Earth, sometimes things just happen. Rides go down, special effects malfunction, and the weather misbehaves (this week, we’re looking at you).

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Last night, guests at one Disney World hotel were evacuated after a fire alarm went off.

AllEars Reader @alakazamber_ on Instagram gave us a heads up about a fire alarm last night at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Here’s a video of the fire alarm going off:

In the event of a fire alarm, guests are evacuated from the area. In this case, guests enjoying dinner at ‘Ohana were evacuated during their meal. Thanks to @iamdeannaberry on Instagram for this video.

That same AllEars reader mentioned that the whole Ceremonial House was evacuated, but guests were let back inside in about 15 minutes. Cast Members brought out fresh food for all guests at ‘Ohana.

Our readers were not told what caused the fire alarm to go off.  If you ever happen to find yourself at Disney World during a fire alarm, please listen to Cast Members, who will safely direct you out of the area.
