It’s not always sunshine and clear skies at Disney World.

Multiple water parks, including Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon and Universal’s Volcano Bay, announced closures this upcoming week, and today we’re seeing why. It is a very stormy day in Orlando today, and rain, strong winds, and even tornadoes could hit the area.
The Orlando International Airport is warning passengers of flight and baggage delays due to the inclement weather. The conditions will likely be very windy before and after the rain passes through, with gusts reaching up to 60 mph.
Today’s weather may cause flights/baggage delivery delays throughout the day. Please make sure to check with your airline directly for any updates in regards to their ops. For general airport delays across the US, visit: https://t.co/JKuNBVb9Fl https://t.co/ttwFjl9crC

Our reporters are at Disney World today, so here’s what the weather is looking like in the parks. Over at Magic Kingdom, the clouds are very gloomy over the castle. We’ve also seen several outdoor attractions closed today — here’s a full list of rides that are affected when it rains in Disney World.

It’s pretty rainy, and the clouds don’t look like they’re gonna leave any time soon. According to Fox35, there was a tornado warning in Orange County (where Disney World is located), but it has since expired.

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the clouds are equally apocalyptic. Here’s what it looked like on the way in.

Hollywood Boulevard was definitely not encapsulating sunny California energy today. Here’s what the storm is looking like over Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. The weather looks like it will clear up this afternoon, but keep an eye on the forecast because Florida weather is unpredictable.

EPCOT isn’t looking much better, either. Here’s the view we got entering the park.

If you’re traveling in or around the Orlando area, stay safe. If you’re flying in or out of MCO, you can look here to see if the status of your flight has changed. We’ll keep you up to date on the weather and how it’s affecting the Disney Parks, so stay tuned to AllEars for more!
