NEWS: New Year's Eve Fireworks are RETURNING to Disney World!

New Year’s looked a bit different at Disney World last year due to the global pandemic.

There were no big parties or events, the parks closed early, and we didn’t see any special fireworks because firework shows were still on hiatus. This year, things are moving back to normal — the parks will be open late, there are some parties happening, and we have a very exciting announcement about fireworks!

New Year’s Eve fireworks are coming BACK to Disney World this year! Thanks to our friend Joe (@schreiberjoe on Instagram) for alerting us about this news.

In Magic Kingdom, the Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks will take place on December 30th and 31st at 11:50PM. Enchantment will also still take place, just earlier that night at 6:30PM.

And, over in EPCOT, the New Year’s Countdown Fireworks will start at 11:54PM on December 31st! Harmonious will also still happen, just at 6:30PM.

We’re so excited to watch these special shows again! It will be interesting to see what EPCOT does since they now have barges in the World Showcase Lagoon for Harmonious. And, maybe we’ll see something related to the 50th anniversary during Magic Kingdom’s show!
