It’s easy to forget that Olivia Rodrigo got her start on Disney after her world domination this year!
With her Grammy Award Nominated album SOUR taking the world by storm this year, it was unsure whether or not Rodrigo would be able to reprise her role as “Nini” in the Disney+ series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. However, despite her recent Sour Tour announcement, Rodrigo is still a wildcat!
Today, TIME Magazine confirmed that Olivia Rodrigo will return to play Nini in season 3 of High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. In their profile on her, after naming her “Entertainer of the Year,” the source confirms that Rodrigo isn’t done with Disney yet!
Shooting for season 3 of the Disney+ original is scheduled to start in January 2022, just a few months before Rodrigo headlines her first international tour. Disney+ isn’t letting go of its superstar just yet!
