PHOTOS: Details Revealed for a Very Important Character At Disney World's 'Star Wars' Hotel

We’re just a few short months away from the grand opening of the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser at Disney World, and the details continue to roll in.

We’ve heard all about the food, learned about the activities you can participate in, but now it’s time to talk about the characters. That’s right, this ship has characters! And today, we got more information on a very important one.

Every ship needs a captain, and that’s no different on the Halcyon Starcruiser! Entertainment Weekly introduces us to Captain Keevan, the leader of our voyage. Imagineering executive Scott Trowbridge notes that throughout your trip, “We’ll learn a lot more about her and her role in some pretty iconic moments in Star Wars history.”

Trowbridge also shares that she runs the ship with “capability and professionalism second to none,” but that when it comes to this Captain (and the rest of the ship, for that matter), “there may be more to her than meets the eye.”
