Expect LOTS of Rain in Disney World Next Week

Headed to Walt Disney World next week? If so, then you need to be aware of what the weather is going to look like!

Although Halloween has officially started in Disney World, the temperatures are still very much in Summer mode. Luckily, there’s some Fall treats that might actually help you cool down! But, it’s best to be prepared, so let’s check out what exactly the weather is going to look like in Disney World this week.

Here’s a look at the week ahead thanks to AccuWeather before we break it down for you.

Sunday, August 15th

The high on Sunday is 83, which is a welcome change to the 90 degree weather that’s been around for so long! Maybe Fall really is showing up in time for Halloween in Disney. Tropical Storm Fred should be affecting the area on Sunday, so expect rain for about 5 hours — the probability is 62%. And watch out for wind, it should be blowing at about 15 miles per hour with gusts up to 29 miles per hour.

Rain from Fred will continue into the evening, with a low of 75. The wind will still be around, so be careful out there!

Monday, August 16th

Fred will still be around Monday, with a high of 88 and a 60% chance of rain. Bring your umbrella because it should rain for about 4 hours.

The low Monday night is 76, but the rain should clear out and just leave behind a lot of clouds.

Tuesday, August 17th

Tuesday’s high is back into the 90s at 91 for the day. We should see a morning thunderstorm, but otherwise, there will be intervals of clouds and sunshine.

The low is 76 Tuesday night and there will be patchy clouds with only a 20% chance of rain.

Wednesday, August 18th

The high Wednesday is 89, but the “feels like” temperature is 101, so watch out for that heat! It will be partly sunny with a thunderstorm possibly in the afternoon.

Wednesday night’s low is a cool 75 and it should be clear to partly cloudy, so it’s a great night to hang out in the parks or Disney Springs!

Thursday, August 19th

The high is 89 on Thursday with times of clouds and sun with the possibility of a thunderstorm. There’s a 30% chance of rain, so pack a poncho just in case!

The low on Thursday is 76 and should be mainly clear with a low chance of rain.

Friday, August 20th

The high on Friday is 89 once again. It should be partly sunny with a thunderstorm possible in the afternoon. The UV index is 11, which is extreme, so wear sunscreen!

Friday’s low is 75 and will be mainly clear again with a 25% chance of rain.

Saturday, August 21st

Saturday will see a high of 88 and be partly sunny! The cloud cover should be about 39%.

The low on Saturday is 76 and it should be clear! Saturday night has the lowest chance of rain all week, so enjoy it by watching some fireworks or checking out EPCOT’s Food and Wine Festival.
