Read THIS Before Booking a Stay at Disney's Contemporary Resort

Earlier this month we got confirmation from Disney of a re-theming for the Contemporary Resort to display a new Incredibles Theme.

Disney has been working on re-theming their resorts recently by infusing more intellectual property throughout many of the resorts. They started with the Polynesian Resort and have now moved to the Contemporary and we just found out one more aspect that will be out of commission during construction.

Starting July 16th, in addition to the rooms at the Contemporary Resort undergoing a re-theming, the first-floor lobby will also be closing for updates.

As of now, the scheduled re-opening for the rooms and the first-floor lobby as of now is listed as late September 2021. While the first-floor lobby is under construction, guests will be able to find the front desk and concierge services on the second floor.

Contemporary Construction

We have noted lots of noise, especially during the day while crews work to renovate the hotel. So you will really want to keep all of the construction in mind prior to booking a stay here.
