The cast of Thor: Love and Thunder just got even more star-studded!
The fourth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Thor franchise, Thor: Love and Thunder, is currently set to be released on February 18th, 2022. And while we still have to wait over a year to see the film, the latest casting announcement already has us excited!
The lineup for Thor: Love and Thunder already includes an impressive cast of fan-favorites. Chris Hemsworth is set to reprise his role as the titular character, joined alongside Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, and Christian Bale in a mysterious new role.
And now, Variety reports that another familiar face will be joining the cast — Chris Pratt is set to make an appearance as Star-Lord, his Guardians of the Galaxy character!
While plot details for the upcoming film have been kept under wraps, the crossover casting makes sense since Thor was last seen aboard Star-Lord’s spaceship in Avengers: Endgame. The film is currently set to begin production in Australia in January 2021.
