Last weekend we attended the FIRST weekend of Universal Orlando’s modified version of Halloween Horror Nights.

Universal gave guests got a taste of the modified event to test out the adjustments. While visiting, we got an up-close look at two haunted houses and ate some classic Horror Night snacks. At first, it was unclear whether Halloween Horror Nights “Lite” would continue throughout the season. Well, buckle up spooky fans! Universal just announced that the modified version of Halloween Horror Nights will stick around!
That’s right! Universal’s premiere Halloween event will be held daily from October 3rd to November 1st this season! Guests will be able visit the two haunted houses: Bride of Frankenstein and Revenge of the Tooth Fairy. They will also be allowed to wear costumes, go trick-or-treating, and more! (We’ll be curious to see what the “and more” means!)

The preview featured many health and safety protocols that will most likely be present at the upcoming events. Scare actors were placed behind plexiglass, physical distancing was practiced inside the houses, and everyone (including actors) were required to wear masks. Virtual queues were also used for the haunted houses.

We’ll continue to keep a close eye out for any further details about this spook-tacular event!
See everything we experienced during the preview of Halloween Horror Nights!
