We Could Get BIG Disney News On May 6th

There’s so much happening in Disney World already, but it’s possible we could get MORE news about the parks in just a few short weeks.

Four times a year, the Walt Disney Company hosts earnings meetings, which is where they publicly discuss how the company did the prior quarter. The company just announced that their Q2 Earnings Call will be held on May 6th, and while we’ll get information about park attendance, pricing, and more, it’s also possible we could get some exciting park or resort information as well!

The Walt Disney Company Q2 Earnings Call will be held virtually at 8:30 AM ET on Wednesday, May 6th, but the report itself is published ahead of time for existing and potential stockholders to read through before the opening bell chimes for the stock market that day.

These earnings calls a great way for us to tell how Disney is doing in terms of financial gains and losses for park attendance, streaming, theatrical releases, park expansions, construction projects and more. However, this is also the very first earnings call new Disney CEO Josh D’Amaro will be leading, which is a pretty big deal.

Josh D’Amaro did lead the Walt Disney Company Shareholders Meeting back on March 18th, so this won’t be his first time leading a meeting as a whole, though the two are quite different.
