The Disney Adventure is Disney’s brand-new cruise ship! This ship is unlike any other Disney Cruise Line ship we’ve ever been on, and not only because of its SEVEN uniquely themed areas, but also because of the numerous different restaurants in each one.

For those who love Pixar, specifically Luca, there are THREE dining spots inspired by this beloved film on the ship, and we’re taking you to every one!
Our first stop was Taverna Portorosso, which is a sports bar that celebrates the spirit of the Italian Riviera, in the style of Luca! Here you’ll find incredible views of the sea, some great drinks to sip on, and lots of screens to watch your favorite games.

While you’re inside the bar, we highly recommend looking closely at it all, because hidden details are everywhere!

As for the menu, you’ll find a few different cocktails, as well as some Zero-Proof Cocktail options. Beers, as well as zero-proof beers and mocktails, are also on the menu.

Our first drink was the 150 SPECIAL for $12, which is clarified using dairy products and has Amaretto, Disaronno, and Campari. This had a really nice, sweet, nutty flavor thanks to the amaretto, but the Campari added a slight bitterness to balance out the drink a bit, so it wasn’t overwhelming.

The 946 is also available for $16, is also clarified using dairy products, and has Angel’s Envy Bourbon, Campari, Carpano Antica Formula, and Strawberry. This was our personal least favorite just due to how heavy it was on the bourbon flavor, and the Campari added a slight bitterness to it. The Carpano added some spicy notes while the strawberry added a touch of sweetness, but the bourbon overpowered that. If you’re looking for a more bitter drink, this is the way to go.

Finally, we grabbed the Side Car for $12, which is made with Absolut Pears, Bottega Limoncino, Grappa, and Lemon. We loved this! It was sweet and easy to sip on, and has both the sweetness and slight tartness of a regular limoncello cocktail, but the pear adds an extra layer that makes it more unique. You’ve really got to love sweet drinks to like this one, but if you do, we think you’ll be a big fan!

Also available on board, if you’re looking for something casual, is Palo Café, which is also inspired by the town of Portorosso seen in Luca.

This charming coffee bar serves up lots of different coffees, as well as pizza, zero-proof drinks, antipasto, and dolce.

Now, if you’re looking for a VERY fancy meal with similar theming, Palo Trattoria is the place to be. This restaurant is for adults only and features Italy’s most celebrated flavors.

While fine dining is available at dinner, Brunch is also hosted, serving up Italian dishes with a modern twist.
