The Most Astonishing Thing You Can Do in the Germany Pavilion in EPCOT

EPCOT has no shortage of amazing offerings — but there’s one German-themed experience that we’re absolutely obsessed with!

EPCOT’s World Showcase features 11 different countries that provide tons of unique attractions, shops, entertainment, and country-specific cuisine. We can literally spend DAYS in each pavilion — but there’s one specific Germany Pavilion experience that we’re actually obsessed with, and we NEED to make sure you know about it!

Is there an EPCOT pavilion more underrated than Germany? Karamell-Küche reliably delivers delicious sweets time and time again, Glaskunst offers GORGEOUS crystal souvenirs,  and Biergarten gives us a taste of that oh-so-delicious German cuisine. However, it’s not the food at this table-service restaurant that we want to hype up today — but, rather, it’s phenomenal live entertainment!

This indoor restaurant is a treat for all the senses. You get to taste delicious food while you sit in a lively Bavarian village where every day is an Oktoberfest celebration under the night sky. 

While you take in the incredible ambience, a lively Polka band provides the soundtrack — and entertainment — that takes this from a fun meal to an unforgettable one!

The entertainment here is anything but quiet! There’s loud music, fun dancing, and plenty of special performances — such as a yodeling contest in years past. We haven’t seen that in quite a while, but we’d buy all of EPCOT’s sauerkraut if Disney promised its return!

We also can’t forget the amazing Alpine Horns performance! This traditional lip-reed wind instrument isn’t a common sight in the U.S., so we feel extra special when they’re pulled out for EPCOT guests.

Seriously, if you’re looking to fully immerse yourself in German culture while never leaving the confines of EPCOT, this is the place for you!
