There’s a new hotel at Universal Epic Universe, and theme park fans are OBSESSED.

Universal Helios Grand Hotel is Universal Orlando‘s first in-park hotel with an entrance that opens directly into Epic Universe. It’s a stunning place to stay with incredible views of the park, and even though it’s expensive, fans are choosing it for a few key reasons.
The first thing you need to know about Helios Grand is that it’s PRICEY. It’s one of Universal Orlando’s fanciest hotels, but that comes with a big price tag. To get a theme park view room, you could be paying more than $900. How to Train Your Dragon-themed suites can often ring up to more than $1000 per night, and the theme park view version of those suites top out at more than $2000 per night.

But with those prices come some pretty sweet benefits, too! Like the other Universal Orlando hotels, those who stay here get Early Park Admission. At Epic Universe in particular, Early Park Admission can make or break your morning because it gives you access to some hot ticket attractions.

And as of February 1st, 2026, Epic Universe has changed its available attractions for Early Park Admission. Now, select attractions in How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, Super Nintendo World, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic are open during Early Park Admission.

And Helios Grand? It has an exclusive entrance to Epic Universe, located at the back of the park. This means that those staying at the hotel are the closest to the Ministry of Magic when the park opens. Want to rope drop Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry? You’ve got a head start on the people coming from the front! Of all the rides in the park, this one posts the highest wait times.

So yes, Helios Grand is quite pricey, but if you’re coming to Universal Orlando with the hopes of getting the ultimate Epic Universe experience, this hotel can’t be beat! You could watch the nightly fountain shows from your hotel room, enjoy extra time in the park, and walk into Epic Universe directly from the first floor of the hotel.

Ultimately, it’s up to you to decide if this hotel is worth the cost for your Epic Universe trip. It could be the perfect choice for your group!
