10 Top Disney World Shoe Finds of 2025

After walking around Disney World for hours and hours this past year, racking up thousands of miles walked between our whole team, we feel pretty knowledgeable about what shoes are best for the parks.

The shoes you wear in the theme parks matter

We polled our whole team and asked them all what their FAVORITE shoes from this year were, and now we’ve got that list for you all in one place so you can take a look at what our top recommendations are for this upcoming year. The best part? We’ve got solid, reliable shoes for EVERY budget!

First on the list, you know exactly what they’re going to be already, because they’re the BEST — it’s HOKA Clifton 10s!

Myranda in the HOKA Clifton 10s

Our reporter Myranda notoriously hates wearing sneakers — and she’s not kidding. She will wear flip flops in 40-degree weather on the roughest terrain before wearing sneakers. At least, that’s how it was at the beginning of this year — after trying out the HOKA Clifton 10s, she’s been a HUGE fan ever since, and now even recommends them to others! If that doesn’t tell you how great these shoes are, we don’t know what will.

A very close second when it comes to our favorite shoes for the parks is the Brooks Women’s Ghost 17 Neutral Running Shoes.

These are a little bit more affordable than the HOKAs, but are still a fantastic option for the parks. They’re comfortable, stylish, made with great material that won’t fall apart on you, and we can’t get enough of them. We’ve got members of our team that swear by these and won’t choose another brand, so if HOKAs aren’t exactly for you, but you still want a high quality shoes, these are the way to go.

The most affordable option on our list, but still AMAZING for the parks, is none other than the Avia Women’s Athletic Jumbo Lite Runner Sneakers.

These are from Walmart and will only cost you about $30, but they’re FANTASTIC. These are basically a HOKA dupe at a MASSIVE price cut, and we think it’s great to start with these and see how you feel with them, so you don’t spend $120+ on one pair of shoes, especially if you don’t want to wear them around very often during the day back at home.

Another solid option available on Amazon is none other than the Ryka Women’s Devotion X Walking Shoes.

These are under $100, making them a little more budget-friendly, and we really love how many different colors and styles they come in. They’ve got great arch and heel support, so if you’ve got higher arches, these are a fantastic way to go.

Now, if you’re looking for another recommendation directly from our team, Emma absolutely adores her New Balance Women’s 530 Running Shoes.

Emma loves her New Balance Sneakers!

She wore these when she was in the parks for days and days each week, filming, reporting, and everything in between, and couldn’t get enough. She brings them back with her when she visits Orlando and doesn’t want to try any others, which we totally understand!

Want some open-toed shoes? Look no further than Tevas! Both Emma and I are HUGE fans of them.

Emma in her Tevas

Personally, I’m usually a big hater of open-toed shoes, but earlier this year, when I knew I’d be traveling during the rainy season, I asked Emma what sandals she really liked, and the Tevas were her recommendation. She was TOTALLY right! After not wearing open-toed shoes for at least 10 years, these are now the only ones I’ll wear — they’re certainly worth a try!

However, the shape and style of Tevas aren’t for everyone, so if you prefer something a bit different, we recommend snagging some Chacos!

Quincy in her Black Chacos!

Quincy is a bigger fan of these shoes and doesn’t like Tevas, and it’s just because her foot is shaped differently than Emma’s, so what’s comfortable for us isn’t the best for her. If you’ve tried Tevas and weren’t a fan, we say give these a try!

Want some super comfortable slides for the parks? Look no further than the OOFOS OOahh Recovery Slides!

These are super comfortable, great for pool days around your hotel if you’re not a big fan of wearing them into the parks, but we especially find them to be useful for people who have flatter feet and therefore don’t need to support their arches as much.

Love Crocs as much as we do? We’ve seen a lot of great pairs this year, but the Classic Geometric Crocs take the top spot for us!

They look JUST like Spaceship Earth, being all silver and having that cool geometric pattern, so what shoes are better for Disney World? These are also great for rainy days, or if you know you’ll be hopping on lots of different water rides and don’t want to worry about your socks getting wet.

Some of the most expensive shoes on the market are the On Clouds, and we’ve heard fantastic things about them, so we understand the price, but paying $200+ for a pair of shoes is a tough pill to swallow!

However, these are especially great for not only walking around Disney World, but also for those who often find themselves running or walking when they’re back at home. Then, you know that this quality pair of shoes will last you a long time, and you won’t have to buy another pair for a while!

Even if you’ve got the best shoes in the world, you still may find that you get a blister on your foot during your trip from all the walking you’re doing. Or perhaps, you forgot to break your shoes in before the trip. To avoid the blister getting worse, we recommend snagging some Moleskin.

You can easily place these on your skin or inside the shoes to keep your skin from rubbing against the shoes, which helps a LOT on vacation. The last thing you want is to get a blister on day one or two of your trip and be in pain for the rest of it.
