Florida Airport Adds Two NEW Nonstop Destinations

Some big news just dropped surrounding a popular airport in Florida!

A brand-new nonstop route to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, has been added to the Tampa International Airport. So, for all of you looking for a tropical vacation, you can schedule a trip out of Tampa, thanks to JetBlue Airways.

You don’t have to wait to book a vacation from Tampa Bay to Punta Cana, as the new route is already available, operating once per day, year-round. We may or may not be looking at flights as we speak to get some nice sunshine in the new year.

JetBlue Airways isn’t stopping there, as JetBlue has also added a nonstop flight from Tampa to Islip, New York, according to News Channel 8. That flight is also available right now as a seasonal flight through April 29th, 2026. This flight operates four times per day.

“Florida continues to be a place JetBlue’s unique combination of low fares and great service resonates, and we’re proud to grow our footprint with these new destinations to meet customer demand for more of the Sunshine State,” said JetBlue’s vice president, network planning and airline partnerships, Dave Jehn. “Whether it’s customers in the Northeast looking for a warm getaway or Floridians traveling north, we’re excited to bring more choices and better service to these markets.”
