Rivers of the Far West at Frontierland

At the end of the summer 2026, guests will be able to enjoy an enhanced experience at Thunder Mesa Riverboat Landing, with the new scenes that were added along the route of Rivers of the Far West. The new scenes are inspired by the original drawings of Imagineer and Disney Legend Marc Davis.

The scenes include new figures, including a buffalo on a prairie, cute racoons, and a skunk on a floating log. You can catch a glimpse of the new figures while aboard the Molly Brown boat — which has recently been renovated.

Hollywood Tower Hotel

Speaking of renovation, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Walt Disney Studios Park is getting a new covered outdoor waiting area that will open in Spring 2026. This themed area will add to the story of The Hollywood Tower Hotel.

It’s said that every material element has been carefully selected to fit with the theme, and to echo the Pueblo Deco architecture of the premises. The props and elements of decor disseminated in the queue will give more clues about the tragic events that occurred at The Hollywood Tower Hotel – preparing guests for what’s awaiting them inside.

Also, there will be a new merchandise location inspired by the 1930s flower shops opening early 2026. The existing structure will be completely reworked to create a boutique that blends into World Premiere Plaza and its Art Deco-inspired theatre district area. The shop will have a beautiful boutique atmosphere.

Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy

In October 2025 Disneyland Paris started a refurbishment on Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy. This renovation is going to deliver technical upgrades and scenic enhancements, giving guests even more of an immersive experience. The queue will be enhanced with a new scene depicting a Parisian artist’s studio.

Annette’s Diner

Over at the Disney Village, Annette’s Diner will temporarily close on January 5th 2026, for a major refurbishment that will last several months. The renovation will focus on enlarging the kitchens and completely refurbishing the dining room. This will include refurbishing the floors and furniture, while keeping its charm and the retro atmosphere that has been so popular since 1992. Some iconic features will be completely reimagined, like the bar which will have a layout and aesthetic redesigned to pay tribute to the distinctive chrome look of classic diners. The booths will also get a new look inspired by 1950s car seats. When it reopens, Annette’s Diner will have a slightly increased seating capacity, and continue to bring the golden age of Rock ’n’ Roll and the 1950s back to life for guests.

Disney Sequoia Lodge

Also starting January 2026, a major refurbishment will begin on Disney Sequoia Lodge, enhancing and elevating the experience offered at the resort hotel. It will still keep its wooden décor along with its authentic and warm atmosphere.

The design will further dive into the beauty of nature, taking inspiration from the forests following the tradition started by Walt Disney and his team of animators. The rooms, the lobby, the shopping and dining locations, will ALL be reinvented as an ode to wildlife. It will offer the perfect environment for guests to relax in.
