Don’t Miss Out On One of the Best Holiday Parties That Isn’t At Disney World

Sure, you’ve heard of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Jollywood Nights, and the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays. But there’s one Christmas party you may be sleeping on in Orlando.

Holidays at LEGOLAND

That Christmas Party is Holidays at LEGOLAND at LEGOLAND Florida, and we recently got to attend a media event for the party, so you can learn about everything there is to see, do, and eat.

Holidays at LEGOLAND takes place on select nights in December in LEGOLAND Florida: December 6th, 13th, and 20th,  as well as December 24th – 31st. The best part is that you don’t need a special ticket. You can attend just by getting a general ticket, Annual Pass, or vacation package for LEGOLAND. You’ll get to enjoy tons of holiday LEGO decor and lights, as well as a gigantic LEGO Christmas tree.

You can also see TWO Santas, including a very cool LEGO Santa with his sleigh and reindeer.

But you can also spend some time with a Santa Minifigure so you can tell him what you want for Christmas.

Other fun events include the Holly Hype Dance Party, where you can dance to some holiday tunes with LEGO Reindeer Girl.

You can stop by the North Pole Postal service to write a letter to Santa, join a holiday sing-along, and build toys for Santa. There’s even a LEGO Sleigh Competition Build, a scavenger hunt, and ornament coloring.

If you want to do some giving back, you can participate in Build To Give, a special build activity where you can build a LEGO heart “to bring the joy of play to children who need it the most.”

Other activities include the Festival of Flurries where you can sing and dance along to your favorite winter tunes and meet LEGO Snowman.

Character experiences include LEGO Nutcracker, as well as LEGO Gingerbread Man.

The best part, though, might be the holiday food. We got to try a few items, including the Peppermint Cheesecake Pop at LEGOLAND Coffee Co. For $10.49, you get a plain cheesecake coated in a shell of white and milk chocolate. The outer layer has a hard candy-like texture, and then you’ve got that creamy cheesecake inside. The crushed peppermint adds extra crunch and flavor.

We also got to try the Let It Snow-Coa at LEGOLAND Coffee Co. You get homemade hot chocolate topped with a marshmallow snowman, complete with edible arms, hat, and scarf in a souvenir cup for $15.29. This might just be regular powdered cocoa, but the marshmallow cream on top is delightful. The little snowman, though, steals the show and is the real reason to order this.

So if you’re looking for something to do during the holidays that isn’t Disney World, Holidays at LEGOLAND might be just the thing you need.
