Have you ever been on a Disney World vacation and thought, “I just wish we had more time!” We know we have! Even after 13+ hour days, we crave just a few more minutes for one more ride, snack, or hug from Mickey — even if we’re sunburnt and our feet are aching.

Luckily for us, Disney has heard our cries because all four theme parks will have Extended Evening Hours in early 2026! You can enjoy the parks once the sun goes down with lower wait times, but not everyone can get in on the fun. Let’s check out all of the details together!
Extended Evening Hours are available at the parks on select dates. During Extended Evening Hours, guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resorts and other select hotels can get extra time in the parks after the parks close.

Extended Evening Hours don’t happen every night — they only happen on select nights during the week. Disney rotates which park offers that extra time, so don’t rely on your memory when picking your park days.
Most often, Extended Evening Hours are offered at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. BUT on select nights, it may be offered at Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios. This is the case on January 26th — on that date, the Extended Evening Hours perk will be offered at Hollywood Studios from 9 PM to 11 PM. And on January 28th, Extended Evening Hours will be offered at Animal Kingdom from 6 PM to 8 PM.

Extended Evening Hours are one of the best Disney hotel perks because they give you extra time in the theme parks when most people go to bed, and the temperatures aren’t quite as hot. In January, you might even want a sweatshirt or jacket in the evening. It can be surprisingly chilly!

More Extended Evening Hours dates could be added in the future — check the Disney World website or My Disney Experience app for more updates. You can see what rides will be open at each park here. As always, be sure to keep following AllEars for more Disney news and more.

Have you ever taken advantage of this Disney hotel perk? Tell us in the comments!

Sister trip in February 2026 this year and we are staying at the Coronado Resort.
I do not see the extended hours for this Disney hotel. Can it be added for the extended hours by Feb 22-26😁
Was surprised to see some contemporary hotels( budget ) hotels on the extended hour benefit use list I believe but not the Coronado non- budget hotel ?
Thank you Disney Fan, Donna
Too bad they do not offer extended park hours to those of us in the value and moderate resorts.
We haven’t been to Disney World for quite some time. But we most definitely took advantage of this perk. We were in the parks until the wee hours of the morning at both Magic Kingdom and Epcot. Back when they had the parks open at night for hours. It was wonderful fun and we didn’t have to stay in a deluxe hotel either. Caribbean Beach and the French Quarter were where we stayed. Splash Mountain in the dark is great fun. Hope this opens up to all guests.
We loved the MK extended hours even though Seven Dwarfs was down the entire time, but didn’t feel it was at all worth it for Epcot. Most of World Showcase is closed, which is a real bummer. They even have it blocked off so that you can’t walk through. We were staying on the Boardwalk so came in through the International Gateway, which meant a lot of walking to enjoy anything as most of what is available is at the front of the park. We did ride Remys two times, but won’t do extended hours in our favorite park again.
