UPDATE: See What’s Going On With Disney World’s NEW Lakeshore Lodge Hotel

We’ve got some big construction news at Disney World, as they continue to build their brand-new hotel!

We have patiently been waiting for Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge since its announcement back in 2018. Unfortunately, we’re still a little ways away, as Disney did say it would be coming to Disney World in 2027 during its first announcement. We may be a couple of years away, but Disney is making lots of progress!

The new hotel (formerly known as Reflections — A Disney Lakeside Lodge) is coming to life near Magic Kingdom. Our team has been dedicated to checking on the hotel’s construction progress, and we have some new photos to show you.

While waiting for a boat at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, we got a look at the new resort! We’re starting to see the structures along the shoreline that make up the hotel, and it’s looking great. We just can’t wait to see what it looks like when it’s complete.

With the completion still well over a year away, there are cranes around the resort. They’ll be there for a while, but they won’t affect anything for guests staying at nearby resorts.

When you get even closer, you can see that progress on the rooms is moving rapidly — how exciting is that?!

We love checking in on the construction because it’s so fascinating to see where they started, to where they are now, and eventually to when it’s finished.

Disney has stated the new resort is “inspired by the majesty of nature and its enduring influence on Disney artists.” In the concept art, it looks like Disney is leaning towards using some beloved woodland characters from the animated classic, Bambi, for the theming. It’s so exciting — those characters don’t get used much at the parks!

We’re sure this resort will be joining the likes of the other Disney World deluxe resorts, so get ready for luxury rooms and gorgeous accommodations. For more Disney news and updates, be sure to stay tuned to AllEars.
