It’s a weird time for the Muppets at Hollywood Studios. Earlier this year, Muppet*Vision 3D — and the whole of the former Muppet Courtyard — closed permanently. The Muppets will be back in the park in 2026 when the characters take over the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster. However, since the closures, the park has been without a Muppet presence for the first time in over three decades… until Jollywood Nights!

Originally launched in 2023, Jollywood Nights has become one of Disney World’s most popular Holiday events. The after-hours event features Christmas decor, characters in their Holiday best (including Chewbacca celebrating Life Day!), specialty food and merchandise, and entertainment offerings. And now, we’re bringing you our FULL review of some Muppet-themed treats!
It isn’t the holidays without a festive sweet treat! We got to try two new Muppet-themed ice creams, and we’re bringing you our full thoughts.

There was the Kermit Mint Whirl for $9.79. The treat was made with green apple boba pearls and white chocolate cheesecake, topped with mint chocolate chip ice cream and green M&M’s, served in a souvenir cup.

At first glance, this is weird…right?! It’s ice cream on top of boba pearls and cheesecake. It was a little jarring at first. Once the ice cream starts melting, you honestly can’t tell what you’re eating; it all starts to blend. It tastes just like Hollywood Scoops ice cream, so it has that high-quality taste!

Then, there was the Miss Piggy Strawberry Glam, also for $9.79. This has strawberry boba pearls and strawberry cheesecake topped with chocolate pearls, strawberry ice cream, and pink M&M’s, served in a souvenir cup.

The cheesecake was a basic one, but it was very good. It tasted like a real, creamy cheesecake —not artificial —which was a great surprise. The M&M’s were a huge win for some extra chocolate and an added texture.

The Miss Piggy boba was a completely different fruit vibe when they popped, and didn’t blend with the strawberry flavor that well. It was strawberry flavored, but it was a juicy strawberry mixed with the creamy strawberry of the ice cream.

However, the Kermit one really threw us off with the flavors. You get sweet mint the whole time and then sour green apple boba pearls, so a weird mix. We didn’t hate it, but it just didn’t blend well in our opinion.

Overall, we felt like this treat prioritized fashion over function. These did look festive and fun! It tastes fine, but it just doesn’t make a ton of sense. Muppets fans will not only think these look cute, but they’ll love getting the souvenir cups.

After beginning on November 8th, the 2025 Jollywood Nights event will take place on November 15th, 17th, 22nd, 24th and 29th, as well as December 1st, 6th, 10th, 13th, 17th, 20th and 22nd. Stay tuned to AllEars for more on the event!
