The Disneyland App Just Got a Much-Needed Upgrade

Lately, Disney has been tweaking their websites and Parks apps, and there’s a new change to the Disneyland app, too.

This one is going to be big for Magic Key Holders! Let’s take a look at all the details.

The Disneyland Resort has officially added the ability to upgrade your Magic Key online or in the app. Magic Key is Disneyland’s version of the Annual Pass. Previously, in order to upgrade your pass, you were required to visit a ticket booth.

We really like this change as it just makes it so much easier to upgrade your pass without needing to go anywhere. In other Magic Key news, we saw that both the Inspire and Believe annual passes are on sale again and will be on sale while supplies last.

Being a Magic Key holder comes with a lot of perks. Of course, you get access to the parks whenever you want (depending on the pass), but you can also get discounts on dining and merchandise, or even save on your hotel stay during special occasions.

Disney recently announced a brand-new perk coming for Magic Key holders this holiday season — special trading cards. From November 3rd to November 27th, you, Magic Key holders, can collect a new trading card each week, Monday through Thursday. There is a limit of one card per Magic Key holder, and admission and park reservations are required to collect them.
