This NEW Disney World App Feature Is Going To Make Shopping 10X Easier!

As much as we love shopping at Disney World, it’s tough to find exactly what you’re looking for with hundreds of stores across four parks, resorts, and Disney Springs!

Well, that could all potentially change, as Disney is working on a new way of finding merchandise at Disney World. Let’s take a look at all the details and what we can expect!

Disney is developing a new, much easier way for guests to find the merchandise they’re looking for at Disney World. It’s currently in testing, but it will be a new feature in the My Disney Experience App. What does it do? You will be able to search for an item and see if it’s in stock! If you don’t see it quite yet, it might not have rolled out to everyone.

Since the feature is in the testing stages right now, you can only try this out at the World of Disney at Disney Springs!

Not only is the feature going to be convenient and make for an easier shopping experience, but the feature itself seems cool and simple to use. We opened up the app to test out the new feature. As you can see, since the feature is being tested for World of Disney only, you can only search there. We checked to see if there was a Minnie Ear Headband in pink in stock, and it was!

After we put in our search and clicked on the World of Disney tab, after it said it was in stock, we found it! It has the price and a picture.

We put in “Ears” to see what else they had, and they pulled up a list with photos of other ears in stock!

If you just open up the search area, but don’t have anything in the search bar, Disney has popular items already loaded up for you to browse through. They even have trending tags for a quick, broad search!

“Holiday” was one of the trending tags, so we had to check out the new Christmas stuff they have in stock. Like we said, super easy to use, and makes shopping way more efficient — now we know what holiday items are at World of Disney, and how much they are!

Our curiosity got the best of us, and we tried searching across the parks — but Disney said NOT YET!

We’re liking the new feature; this could really be a game-changer when it comes to shopping at Disney World. We’re going to keep an eye on this as it develops, so make sure to stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest news and updates.
