Disney Confirms Times for Limited-Time Fireworks

Disney World will be hosting an exclusive fireworks show once again this holiday season, but it will only be showing for TWO days!

Right after the Christmas festivities take place at the Magic Kingdom, we jump right into the New Year’s celebrations. This means the return of the BEST and brightest fireworks show, and Disney has just confirmed the showtimes and dates it will take place.

The incredible New Year’s Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks will perform on December 30th and December 31st. They will take place at 7:30 PM and 11:50 PM on both days.

If you’re looking to enjoy this show, you’ll only have TWO days to do it. You’ll have a couple of days to see Disney light up the night sky in a full 360-degree view of fireworks inside and around Magic Kingdom. The soundtrack is set to popular Disney songs. We’ve seen this fireworks show perform in the past for New Year’s Eve celebrations, and we love it every time!

This celebration will begin the day after the last performance of Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, which takes place at the Magic Kingdom during the Christmas season. The last day to see that will be December 29th at 8:30 PM.

The New Year’s Eve fireworks crowds at the Magic Kingdom are always very busy! However, an easy way to avoid some of the crowds is to book a fireworks dining package. This guarantees reserved viewing for the fireworks, meaning you don’t have to stake out your spot hours and hours early.

You can book a Fireworks Dessert Party, which is located at the Tomorrowland Terrace. There are two areas of viewing that are available for reservation. If you want to sit,  you can view the show at the Tomorrowland Terrace. There will also be spots where you will stand in reserved spaces in the grass in front of the castle. Both come with access to champagne and sweet treats. It costs $124 for adults and $74 per child.

Don’t forget about the EPCOT fireworks, too! These will only be on December 31st. Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration will be at 11:54 PM, and Luminous: The Symphony of Us will still play at 6:30 PM the same night.
