Universal Orlando Adds Another Attraction to Its List of Closures

We hate to say it, but ANOTHER attraction closure is happening at Universal Orlando Resort. If you’re planning a Universal trip for the middle of November, you’re going to want to be prepared.

Universal has a long list of attractions that are or will be temporarily closed. Some won’t be closed for too long, while others will be unavailable for a good chunk of time. We’re going to help you be prepared, as well as let you know what to expect with this new closure happening.

The DreamWorks Imagination Celebration is an incredible live show, featuring characters from Shrek, Trolls, and Kung Fu Panda. It’s a fun piece of entertainment for kiddos and families that showcases live actors, animated characters, and dancers. Unfortunately, we’re going to have to say a temporary goodbye to it.

The DreamWorks Imagination Celebration, located in DreamWorks Destination Land at Universal Orlando, will be temporarily closed from November 7th to November 17th, 2025, according to the Universal calendar. Thankfully, it isn’t going to be closed for too long, but it does remove some fun live entertainment at the park, especially for the little ones.

It sounds like, although the show will be closing, the rest of the DreamWorks Destination Land should remain open. That means you can still enjoy the Panda Village, Po Live!, Poppy’s Playground, Shrek’s Swamp Meet, Shrek’s Swamp for Little Ogres, and Troll’s Trollercoaster.

Like we mentioned, this attraction is joining a long list of closures. Here’s a full list of everything that is or will be closing:

Universal Islands of Adventure

• Dudley Do-Right’s RipSaw Falls: October 6th – 31st, 2025
• Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey: November 10th – 20th, 2025
• Jurassic Park River Adventure: January 5th, 2026 – November 19th, 2026
• Hogwarts Express: February 9th – 23rd, 2026

Universal Studios

• Revenge of the Mummy: January 15th – 21st, 2026
• Hogwarts Express: February 9th – 23rd, 2026
• DreamWorks Imagination Celebration: November 7th – 17th, 2025
