It’s Official. One of the BEST Halloween Events Is Hiding at LEGOLAND Florida

It’s Halloween, and yes, we’ve talked a lot about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Disney World, Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando, and even Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld Orlando.

Wolf Guy

Well, we’re about to tell you about another fun Halloween event in the Orlando area that you may be sleeping on. It’s family-friendly, it’s fun, and the food is great! So come with us to LEGOLAND Florida to attend Brick or Treat Monster Party.

Brick or Treat is LEGOLAND’s Halloween Party with live shows, monster meet and greets, limited-time themed rides, limited-time food and drinks, trick-or-treating, and more.

LEGOLAND Florida

It’s sort of like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, but maybe even a little more family-friendly.

It’s a Monster Party

Of course, there are a TON of things to do during this event, so let’s get going!

Halloween-themed LEGO builds

You can’t have a Halloween Party in LEGOLAND without some special builds, and we saw quite a few awesome ones. For example, there was this Vampyre Hearse made with almost 300,000 LEGO bricks.

Vampyre Hearse

That’s impressive, right? There are a ton of these builds throughout the park.

Trick or Treating

Like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you can also visit trick-or-treat stations throughout LEGOLAND and stock up on candy. These stations are generally marked with a big “Candy” sign, so you can’t miss them!

Free candy!

This party is for everyone, so adults can trick-or-treat here, too.

Brick or Treat Pop Badges

So Pop Badges are LEGOLAND’s version of celebration pins. Two parts snap together on either side of your shirt or thin fabric, sort of like how LEGO bricks snap together. You can get a special Pop Badge during the party, and yes, we wore it proudly.

What a cool concept!

Rides

During the party, you’ll have access to rides, too. We hopped on Lost Kingdom Adventure to check it out. It’s a dark shooting ride, similar to Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin.

Some LEGOLAND rides also have a special Halloween overlay right now, including Coast Cruise, which is now Ghost Cruise. We see what ya did there, LEGOLAND.

Monster Skytacular Drone Show

The Monster Skytacular Drone Show is really cute, but it doesn’t quite compare to Disney Dreams That Soar in Disney Springs. It doesn’t quite have that intensity, but it does have something else: fireworks. And in a lot of ways, that makes it BETTER.

Cool drone and fireworks show

In fact, we saw a lot of fireworks used in this show, and the pyrotechnics really integrated with what the drones were doing in a cool way.

Food and Drinks

We also checked out a few special food and drink items at the party. The Candy Corn Cooler at the Funnel Cake Factory is $6.69. It’s got a lovely vanilla ice cream as a base with a great flavor, followed by orange and lemon. It doesn’t really taste like candy corn, though.

We also tried the Franken-Fries at Granny’s Apple Fries for $19.49. It’s topped with homemade pistachio ice cream, chocolate drizzle, toasted kadaiffi, and Dubai chocolate pieces. Okay, so the fries are kinda hidden underneath all the toppings. We really liked the chocolate shell because it was fun to crack open and kept everything from dripping all over the place. The pistachio ice cream is delicious, and it pairs so well with the chocolate, fried apples, and cinnamon. We’re getting total autumn vibes with this snack.

Franken-Fries

It also comes in a fun souvenir apple bowl, and we have to admit that this is nicer than some of the souvenir cups and bowls we’ve had at Disney World. Granted, this snack is pricey, but the portion size is huge, and it tastes homemade.

You can also get TONS of other special food and drinks at the party.

Lots of special snacks available

We didn’t have a chance to eat everything, but you’ll have plenty of choices if you attend the party.

Characters

Some special LEGO characters are also available to meet, including the Mummy!

The Mummy

You’ll find character meet and greets throughout the park. This was the highlight of our evening!

Other

A ticket also gets you access to:

  • Live shows
  • Costume contests for kids and adults
  • Special photo ops
It’s all spooky

There’s just so much to see and do!

Tickets

The dates for Brick or Treat Monster Party are September 27th, Saturdays and Sundays in October, and November 1st and 2nd. Tickets include admission to LEGOLAND Florida and SeaLife (plus additional add-ons are available), as well as Brick or Treat, and 1-Day tickets start at $54 per person. Hot tip! Make sure to buy your tickets before you go to LEGOLAND; the prices start at $125 per person at the Front Gate.

An event guide is available

So, here’s our take: this is an incredible event for families with small children. Most of the rides are geared towards kids, as is this event itself. Nothing is too spooky, but just spooky enough for a festive Halloween experience.  If you’ve got kids, you should grab tickets ASAP. This is SO much fun and pretty much the opposite of something like Halloween Horror Nights. We had a BLAST!

This Halloween Party in Orlando is Only $46! Halloween Horror Nights, Take Notes!
