Universal Orlando Hotel Reveals NEW Rooms

When you book a trip to Universal Orlando, one of the things you need to figure out is where you’re staying.

Universal Orlando has 11 on-site hotels, each with its own amenities, rooms, and perks. One hotel, Hard Rock Hotel, just renovated its rooms, marking the end of $40 million worth of upgrades that have been recently done to the hotel.

Universal Orlando’s Hard Rock Hotel is now debuting its new renovated rooms and suites, which got a huge upgrade as part of a $40 million renovation that also updated The Kitchen, Velvet Bar, the lobby bar, and the building’s exterior.

The updated rooms are inspired by the colors and textures of a California Sunset, with lots of orange, blue, and amber colors. Rooms also feature driftwood accents and handmade macrame fixtures. Here’s a first look:

For those who have stayed in Hard Rock Hotel’s rooms before, some favorite elements remain, including record artwork on the walls and the mirrors with celebrity heights.

“We’re thrilled for our guests to experience a new look and feel when they check in next,” says John Power, managing director at Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando. “Think of a place where you would hang out and listen to your favorite band lay down a new track in the studio. That is the vibe the designers created in our new rooms.”

Hard Rock Hotel is a short walk away from Universal Orlando Resort, although complimentary water taxi and shuttle rides are also available to all three theme parks and Universal Volcano Bay. Hard Rock Hotel guests also get early park admission and Universal Express Unlimited ride access.
