Disney just teased a new popcorn bucket, but this one can’t be bought at the theme parks!

Disney’s next installment of the TRON series, Tron: Ares, hits theatres in a month, and the excitement is building for the fans as an INSANE new popcorn bucket is debuting for the film (along with TONS of other souvenirs). Let’s take a look at what’s coming and where to get them!
Get ready TRON fans, Tron: Ares officially hits theatres on October 10th — and tickets are on sale for the film right now! The movie stars Evan Peters, Gillian Anderson, Jeff Bridges, Greta Lee, and Jared Leto. The film is directed by Joachim Rønning, who has worked on other Disney live-action hits like Maleficent: Mistress of Evil and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

To get ready for the release of the movie, Cinemark Theatres teased tons of new souvenirs that will be available soon. You’ll be able to get a Tron: Ares popcorn tub, a 44-oz souvenir cup, or a 22-oz double-wall cup. However, our eyes are on the unique 3D Light Cycle Popcorn Bucket!

All the souvenirs are cool, but we’ve never seen anything like the Light Cycle Popcorn Bucket before. This thing holds popcorn in both the front and back wheels, which both have a see-through window. If the design itself wasn’t enough to sell you on it, the popcorn bucket also LIGHTS UP! We aren’t kidding when we say, this might be the most insane popcorn bucket we’ve ever seen. The popcorn bucket will not only be available at Cinemark, but at Regal Theatres as well. This alone could be driving fans to theaters on the movie’s opening night.

The souvenirs don’t end there; they’re going all-out for this movie. Check out this limited-edition Arcade Container, sold exclusively at Regal Theaters. It will only be available at select Regal locations, and while supplies last. You may want to call your local Regal Theater to see if they have it before making the trip.

If you thought we were done, think again, because AMC Theaters also has an exclusive souvenir for the film. It looks like they’re doing a giveaway, offering fans an exclusive collectible keychain for those who see the movie in Dolby on October 12th.

Finally, Alamo Drafthouse will be offering limited-edition Tron: Ares pint glasses — which can be pre-ordered with your ticket. They’re available while supplies last, so don’t wait too long or you may miss out.

All the popcorn and drink souvenirs will most likely be available on or around October 10th, the same day as the movie drops. We’re excited to embark on this next chapter of the iconic movie series. If you haven’t yet, you should check out the trailer!
That’s not all that’s coming for TRON fans! Disney is doing a limited-time overlay on TRON Lightcycle / Run to get ready for the brand-new film.

The overlay will also be coming to TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom and TRON Lightcycle Power Run in Shanghai Disneyland. Changing the blue and orange hues of the ride into RED! That’s right — we’re switching sides.

The overlay will officially hit the parks on September 15th (Magic Kingdom) and September 16th (Shanghai Disneyland). Just imagine what the ride will look like at night, glowing red rather than blue.

We’re excited for all things TRON that are coming soon, from the ride overlay to the souvenirs to the movie! We can’t wait to experience it all. To stay up to date on the latest Disney news, be sure to follow us at AllEars.
