Harry Potter fans are in for a special treat in 2026!
Have you ever dreamed of arriving at Platform 9 3/4 and riding the Hogwarts Express? We sure have! Yes, there is a Hogwarts Express attraction at Universal Orlando Resort, but we’re talking a FULL Hogwarts Express train experience.
Rail Events Incorporated and Warner Bros. Discovery are partnering to bring a unique and exciting experience for Harry Potter fans. Introducing the Harry Potter: A Hogwarts Express Adventure.
A Hogwarts Express Adventure will open in 2026, and this magical journey will be aboard a REAL moving train. As you embark on your journey, you’ll enjoy a preboarding experience that will include iconic moments like going through Platform 9 3/4, as well as that chilling moment when the train arrives and departs.
Most of the experience will take place on a real moving train. It’ll feel like you’re travelling to Hogwarts. In the concept video, it looks like screens will come into play to help enhance your Hogwarts Express journey.
On board, there will be challenges against the Hogwarts houses, and their hosts — so you can see if you have what it takes in the Wizarding World.
Once your ride is complete, you’ll be able to explore an area to enjoy the best Hogwarts has to offer — Butterbeer and exclusive merchandise.
This is looking like it will be an unforgettable experience, and we can’t wait to try this next year! The Hogwarts Express Adventure will take place on real-world train routes. The locations for this experience haven’t been announced yet, so we’ll need to wait to get more information. Note that this will NOT be an attraction coming to the Universal theme parks.
