The Germany Pavilion is one of the most popular pavilions in EPCOT, and for good reason.

There are tons of delicious snacks to grab, a hollow wall you can knock on that was originally going to be a new attraction (and dream about what could have been), and, of course, plenty of unique architecture to take in. If you’re planning to spend a large part of your EPCOT day in the pavilion, there are some essentials you’ll definitely want to bring along!
If you’re looking for some iconic snacks in the pavilion, there’s no shortage of them in the Germany Pavilion! Karamell-Küche has some truly AMAZING treats that you won’t want to miss, one of our favorites being the Mickey Werther’s® Original® Caramel Chocolate Cookie Sandwich.

You can also find one of the largest pretzels on Disney World property here, which is a pretty well-known snack when it comes to Germany. It may not be Mickey-shaped, but in our eyes, there’s no better place to enjoy a pretzel in EPCOT if you want it to feel authentic!

Speaking of those pretzels, if you are planning on grabbing one, you’ll need a LARGE water bottle to go with it, because the dry mouth from this is no joke. Personally, we suggest a large water bottle that will keep cold all day, like the Stanley IceFlow!

We’ve tried this out in the parks ourselves multiple times, and it truly does keep our water ice cold! This is important to have with you on any park day, as staying hydrated on hot summer days is a top priority — the last thing you want is the rest of your trip being hampered because you forgot to stay hydrated on day one!
One of our other favorite parts of the Germany Pavilion is checking out what’s going on in Tiny Train Town, which is exactly what it sounds like — there’s a small model of a city that changes pretty often.

Our friends over at DFB enjoy making up fun stories about what’s going on in the town, and we’ll admit, sometimes things get a little nefarious, so we enjoy heading over there to see what’s going on, too. To do that, though, you need some sun protection since it’s right out in the open, and one of our favorite tools is the BAODINI Mini Umbrella!

These do a great job of blocking out the sun on hot days, and while it may not seem like it, stepping under them can truly drop the temperature by a few degrees. These are especially helpful if you know you’ll be standing somewhere for a while, such as a long line, or attempting to figure out what the citizens of Tiny Train Town are up to.
Finally, something as simple as a hat can also keep you cooler on hot days, save your scalp from burning, and protect your eyes, is a simple hat, like the Mickey Cartoon Baseball Cap!

We love how simple this hat is, but it also comes in four different designs, so you can find the one that works best for you. Even if this hat isn’t up your alley, or you’re not able to drop cash on a new one, bring one from home and thank yourself for it later!
